About Me

Before training to become a counsellor, I worked for 20+ years for a local charity and supported people from many walks of life. This has given me a deep understanding of the diverse challenges people face.

My approach is anchored in the belief that each person is unique and I draw on a range of therapeutic models, such as Person-Centred, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis so that we can tailor our work to your needs and lived experience.

I work in a calm, respectful, and non-judgmental way, keeping your wellbeing at the centre of each session, so that you can safely explore your thoughts and feelings. People often come to counselling unsure of what to expect – and that’s okay!

Whether you’re navigating a period of change, looking to understand yourself better, or dealing with emotional distress, my role is to walk alongside you, offering space, curiosity and care as we work towards finding clarity, resilience, and empowerment.
